Navigation for Roads, Trails, and Snow

Turn-by-turn guidance covers unpaved roads and trails using OpenStreetMap data, U.S. Forest Service Motor Vehicle Use Maps, and Garmin Adventure Roads and Trails content. Preloaded topographic maps help riders understand surrounding terrain, while dedicated snowmobile trails and points of interest support winter travel throughout the northern United States and Canada. Preloaded City Navigator maps also provide guidance when the route returns to paved roads.

Detailed Terrain Views and Ride Tools

Download high-resolution satellite imagery directly to the navigator through Wi-Fi without a separate satellite imagery subscription. Built-in sensors provide altimeter, barometer, compass, pitch, and roll information for added awareness across changing terrain. The Tread app can provide live weather, GPX file sharing, and Group Ride location tracking when paired with a compatible smartphone and active connection.

The included tube mount kit supports installation on compatible powersport vehicles. Tread 2 can also pair with selected Garmin inReach devices, Group Ride Radio, wireless cameras, and other compatible accessories for a more connected riding setup.
